Based in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, Solarus is a communications service provider in the midst of a complete network and business transformation. In April, Solarus launched its new Mediashower platform, which will enable faster broadband speeds and a more powerful video service than its subscribers have ever witnessed before. As a part of this new service delivery, Solarus is leveraging the Calix Unified Access portfolio to support their new fiber network. By eliminating cabinets in the field and reducing the amount of used rack space in their central office, Solarus is benefitting from newly found cost savings.
