Photos From the Field: Broadband Stimulus at work in Tennessee
In January, we announced that North Central Telephone Cooperative (NCTC) in Tennessee selected the Calix E7 to bring advanced broadband services to north central Tennessee and parts of southern Kentucky. This Active Ethernet network, capable of delivering broadband speeds up to one gigabit per second (1 Gbps) to each subscriber, will bring some of the fastest high-speed data services in the country to the residents, businesses, and anchor institutions of Macon, Smith, and Sumner Counties, while also delivering advanced entertainment services.
Recently, regional sales manager Mark Johnson visited NCTC and learned that the E7 is up and running in the company's brand new data center. NCTC CEO/President Nancy White has even given tours to some distinguished visitors and posed in front of the new equipment!
NCTC E7 Deployment
Thanks to NCTC Network Manager Corey Smith for providing (and posing in) these pictures. Congratulations to Mark and the rest of the regional team for all the hard work that went in to deploying the E7 at NCTC.
