Re: Quering the CMS database

Using TL1, yes, could find a way to automate extraction of the description field.  We have that in place today using a Perl script.

Re: Quering the CMS database

I started out with tl1. I have another group(CO-FTTP) with three shelves in it(N1-1, N1-2, N1-3).

I get an invalid system ID/TID error. when using the RTRV-ONT.  After getting that I looked at using the database directly.

Do you need help getting the TID?  That's usually the shelf name listed CMS. In the image below, that's "SHELF 200 CO"

Re: Quering the CMS database

That was it. The network and node names are so close I didn't see the diffeence. I needed CO-FTTP and I was using CO-FTTOP.

Thanks for your help.
