Rural FTTP Video: Aerial Fiber Optic Cable Lashing

I spent this week in Missouri shooting some videos with two Calix customers. These Co-ops, who you'll hear more about in the coming weeks, are in the early stages of installing FTTP networks for the residents in their communities. While on site near Savannah, MO, we ran in to John Perry, program manager for Atlantic Engineering. John and his crew are installing aerial fiber optic cable for a new GPON deployment using a process called lashing. He explains the process to our readers in this video:
