Based in Tipton, Missouri, Co-Mo Electric Cooperative applied for Broadband Stimulus funding twice to bring broadband to its rural membership, only to be turned down twice.  Yet, with its dedication to its membership and local community, Co-Mo moved forward with a self-funded fiber project and is already exceeding expectations in early sign-ups.
